Rawalpindi CC win the Sprite Indoor Tournament

Another match in the tournament, where the team batting first put up any total, was enough to defend.

Rawalpindi, batting first, had an excellent start, with Sajid hitting sixes early on to take the score to 24 after two overs. Y3, from the third over took things under their control, putting the pressure back on Rawalpindi, who seemed to have lost direction in the middle overs, hitting erratic shots and getting their partners run out.

They couldn't recover after the great start they had, ending their innings on 23. Y3 felt things were under their control. They sensed victory here, but they were facing one of the best bowling sides of the tournament.

Rawalpindi's bowling was outstanding. Rafiq, as always, kept the score under control. Hassan took two wickets in consecutive balls in the second over. The pressure was so immense for the Y3 batsmen that at times they gifted their wickets to Pindi Boys. Wickets fell in almost every over, the match seemed over by the end of the fifth over of Y3's innings.

After a well-deserved victory for Rawalpindi, they now advance to play the winners of the different league.
