Clark waits on Williams

THE Western Australian Cricket Association selectors today announced a provisional ING Cup squad to play against New South Wales at Coffs Harbour on Sunday, January 19, 2003.

The Western Australian Cricket Association selectors today announced a provisional ING Cup squad to play against New South Wales at Coffs Harbour on Sunday, January 19, 2003.
The squad is: Justin Langer (captain), Michael Hussey (vice-captain), Jo Angel, Ryan Campbell, Beau Casson, Michael Clark, Murray Goodwin, Kade Harvey, Shaun Marsh, Chris Rogers, Callum Thorp, Brad Williams and Paul Wilson.
Seam bowler Michael Clark remains in the 13-man team following the call-up of Brad Williams to the Australian team for the VB Series.
If Williams remains with the Australian limited-overs squad for Sunday's match against England in Adelaide, Clark will play for the Warriors.
Clark, 24, is the Warriors leading first-class wicket-taker (22) this season and missed the Warriors one-day victory over Victoria in Melbourne last Friday.
NSW will be led by Australian Test captain Steve Waugh. His brother Mark, who recently retired from international ranks and former Warriors batsman Simon Katich will also play against the Warriors on Sunday.
