England put in a typically superb fielding display to earn their 23rd win from 24 completed Twenty20 internationals, and deny New Zealand a third consecutive World Twenty20 final appearance. Suzie Bates lamented her side's struggle to sweep square of the wicket - which proved especially costly against England's four-pronged spin attack. Edwards fell with 41 still needed, but Taylor (21*) and Lydia Greenway (22) finished the job.
