15-Apr-2011
At Chennai, April 6, 2010. Chennai Super Kings won by 24 runs. ‡Chennai Super Kings 165-4 (20 overs) (M. L. Hayden 35, M. S. Dhoni 31, S. Badrinath 30*); Mumbai Indians 141-9 (20 overs) (S. R. Tendulkar 45, Harbhajan Singh 33). MoM: S. K. Raina.
Chennai stuttered to a decent total, but Mumbai struggled once Tendulkar was forced to retire after the ninth over by severe cramps and dehydration on a humid evening. He returned later, but the task was beyond even him as the tabletoppers tasted defeat.
