Ireland have named a squad of 12 for their first match of their ICC InterContinental Cup campaign as they set about defending their title. The four-day match against Namibia starts next week at Clontarf, in Dublin.
Gary Wilson and Gary Kidd have earned senior call-ups following their impressive displays in both the Under-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka in February, and the more recent EurAsia Series in Abu Dhabi.
Three players were unavailable for selection - John Mooney has study commitments, while Andrew White is playing for Northants and Niall O' Brien is on duty for Kent.
