Kenya v Zimbabwe

At Dhaka, March 27 (day/night)

15-Apr-2000
At Dhaka, March 27 (day/night). Zimbabwe won by 202 runs. Toss: Zimbabwe.
A lop-sided tournament came to a lop-sided conclusion as Zimbabwe romped home by 202 runs, a margin exceeded only twice in one-day internationals. The backbone of their innings was a career-best 140 from Grant Flower, who followed his brother in passing 3,000 runs and utterly dominated the Kenyan attack. But it was the thunderous hitting of Carlisle and Streak which helped Zimbabwe take 51 from the last 22 balls to achieve their highest-ever total -- and the highest by any country in Dhaka. Martin Suji, with two for 31, was the only bowler to cost less than six an over. Kenya, batting without Tikolo because of a wrist injury, then buckled against the Zimbabwean spinners.
Man of the Match: G. W. Flower. Man of the Series: A. Flower.
