Griqualand West and Eagles batsman, Adrian McLaren, will miss the two opening matches of the forthcoming South African domestic season after he was charged for a breach of discipline.
McLaren was found to be in violation of Cricket South Africa's Rules and Code of Conduct under three accounts while playing for South African Airways Challenge XI in a three-day tour match against Sri Lanka A at Willowmoore Park in Benoni in August.
McLaren was reported by umpires Rudi Koertzen, Zed Ndamane and match referee, Cyril Mitchley for dissent, charges of intimidation, verbal abuse and abusive language under Rules 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 of the Code.
