Misbah-ul-Haq provided the finishing touches to a game and a tour which had only enhanced his growing authority as captain. A cool, unbeaten 48 was overshadowed a little by Shahid Afridi's 15- ball 22, but Misbah's calculations were spot on: three boundaries in the 17th over, which Pakistan began needing 43, dragged them back into the game. The target should have been higher, but Aizaz Cheema picked up four wickets as Sri Lanka collapsed from an imposing 119 for three to a limp 141.
