Hasan Raza made an even 100 not out to lift Pakistan A into a commanding position on the second day of the unofficial Test at Harare. At 87 for 4 in reply to Zimbabwe's first-innings 191, Pakistan were in some trouble, but Raza added 59 for the fifth wicket with Zulqarnain Haider, and reached his century thanks to a tenacious 16-ball duck from Mohammad Irshad, in which time the pair added 19 for the tenth wicket.
By the close, Zimbabwe had been reduced to 63 for 3, with Mohammad Asif removing the former Test pair of Trevor Gripper and Mark Vermeulen, before Irshad struck to dismiss Stuart Carlisle for 19. Neil Ferreira finished on 28 not out.
