Retravision Warriors Pura Cup team announcement

The Western Australian Cricket Association today announced the Retravision Warriors team to take on the West End Redbacks in a Pura Cup clash starting at the WACA Ground on Sunday.

Michael Hussey will captain the side in the first Pura Cup match of the season.

Left-arm swing bowler Michael Clark was unavailable for selection due to a back complaint. He was the Warriors leading bowler in the Pura Cup last season with 38 wickets.

All-rounder Darren Wates is in line to play his first Pura Cup match since January 2000. He has been waylaid with side and groin complaints.

The Team:
Michael Hussey (Captain), Jo Angel, Ryan Campbell, Beau Casson, Murray Goodwin, Brad Hogg, Shaun Marsh, Marcus North, Chris Rogers, Callum Thorp, Darren Wates, Brad Williams, Paul Wilson and Peter Worthington.

Hogg and Williams are part of the Australian test squad that will take on Zimbabwe in the second `3' Test match at the SCG starting on Friday.

The 12th man will be named on the morning of the match.
