Jamaica 91 for 2 (Parchment 51*) v Guyana
Scorecard
Only 32 overs were possible on a rain-interrupted first day of the match between Jamaica and Guyana at the Sabina Park in Kington, during which time Jamaica scored 91 for 2 after winning the toss. Brenton Parchment, a 22-year-old opener playing in his first match of the season, made an attractive unbeaten 51 off 80 balls, hitting six fours and a six. He put together 81 for the first wicket with Donovan Pagon (35), but Imran Jafferally, an offspinner, pegged Jamaica back with two quick wickets. He had Pagon caught by Neil McGarrell, and then bowled Danza Hyatt for 2.
