Neil Wagner and Bradley Barnes, two South Africa Academy players, have been warned for showing dissent against umpiring decisions after the four-day match against Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Academy in Jessore. This comes just a day after three BCB players - Nasiruddin Faruque, Dolar Mahmud and Mehrab Hossain jnr - were given warnings for using abusive language towards the umpires.
The players were summoned by the match referee Raqibul Hasan for breaching the code of conduct during South Africa's second innings. Wagner, the left-arm fast bowler, has been given a suspended ban for two matches while wicketkeeper Barnes copped a one-match suspension. The suspension will apply if the players commit the same offences again during the Academy Cup.
