The Western Australian Cricket Association has named Youth team coaches for the 2003-04 season.
Former State batsmen Doug Harris and Darrin Ramshaw and former Wanneroo League batsman Greg Williams will coach the WA development teams.
Harris will coach the State Second XI side, while Ramshaw will coach the Under-19 team. Harris will also co-coach the Under-19s with Ramshaw.
Williams will coach the State Under-17 team.
All coaches are currently full-time WACA staff members. Harris is WACA coaching manager, Ramshaw team operations manager, while Williams is performance information officer.
Their appointments are in line with a major re-structure of WACA coaching and cricket operations.
They will work in direct association with returning Western Warriors coach Wayne Clark.
General manager of cricket operations Rob Langer said that today's coaching appointments will benefit plans for Clark to oversee development of future Warriors players.
"Wayne, as Warriors squad coach, will have a considerable input into all youth teams and the process of player development," he said.
"The appointment of full-time WACA staff with their high quality coaching credentials, will enhance Wayne's operations as our senior coach."
