At Worcester, June 13. West Indies won by eight wickets. As in their famous win over Australia, Zimbabwe owed much to Fletcher who, coming in at 65 for four, added 92 with Houghton. Momentarily, when Rawson removed Haynes and Richards and West Indies were 23 for two, another sensation was just conceivable, but between stoppages for bad light Greenidge and Gomes soon killed Zimbabwe's hopes.
