New Zealand v Pakistan, 2015-16

Wisden's review of the third Twenty20 International, New Zealand v Pakistan, 2015-16

15-Apr-2017
At Wellington (Westpac Stadium), January 22, 2016 (floodlit). New Zealand won by 95 runs. Toss: Pakistan.
One shellacking followed another, as Pakistan suffered their worst defeat by runs in Twenty20 internationals, sunk by the loss of three wickets in the first 15 balls, then three apiece for Milne and the canny Elliott. New Zealand had got to within a boundary of 200, led by Anderson, who took charge when Taylor retired with a side strain. After zooming to his highest score in the format, Anderson opened the bowling and took two early wickets, although Boult had started the rot with his first ball. Pakistan were out of it at 55 for five in the ninth over, with only Sarfraz Ahmed able to make much headway as New Zealand clinched the series.
Man of the Match: C. J. Anderson.
