Shan Masood batted more than three hours for his 67 - but lost his Test place to his opening partner, Sami Aslam, who was out for 17. After Azhar Ali departed at 181-3, Iftikhar Ahmed (41*) and Mohammad Rizwan (49*) put on 80 before a late declaration. Worcestershire survived 11 overs on the first evening, and had few problems on the second day, mostly against a second-string attack.
