The only hit for Zimbabwe was the YouTube clip showing the spectacularly macabre final delivery of Bangladesh's innings, which was smashed back at bowler Keegan Meth by Nasir Hossain. Three of Meth's teeth, including the front two, were seen flying out of his mouth as he crumpled to the ground; a fourth was broken in half and removed later. It was five minutes before he was stable enough to be stretchered from the field. No wonder Zimbabwe had little stomach for the fight after that. Tamim Iqbal and a classy half-century from Shakib Al Hasan - who hit 79 in 71 deliveries, despite going 40 balls without a boundary in mid-innings - had almost certainly taken the game beyond their reach anyway. Mahmudullah completed a fine match by adding three late wickets to his unbeaten 60.
