CCA congratulates WICB and its new President

The Canadian Cricket Association congratulates the West Indies Cricket Board and its newly elected Teddy Griffith. We wish the new administration the very best in its drive to the 2007 Cricket World Cup. On behalf of the CCA, we again pledge any support or assistance to the WICB in its renewed drive to excellence.

Asian Television on its Asian Horizons programme will be broadcasting cricket programmes for example, from the Cricket World Cup 2003, as well as other cricket programs regularly. We wish the Asian Television Network and its President and CEO, Shan Chandrasekhar, and the folks at ATN continued successes.

We trust that we shall soon be seeing more ICC cricket and especially tours of the West Indies as we lead up to the CWC 2007! Stay tuned to ATN-true friends of cricket.

Starting this Sunday (at 9:00 am on Toronto 1 in Toronto), October 5th cricket will be seen in Toronto, Winnipeg, Alberta and Edmonton and in British Columbia.
