Toss Ireland opt to bat vs Bangladesh
Ireland captain Paul Stirling decided to bat first after winning the toss against Bangladesh in the second T20I in Chattogram. Ireland made one change from the side that won the first T20I, replacing Curtis Campher with Ben Calitz. Bangladesh, meanwhile, made three changes in what is a must-win match for them. They brought in Mahedi Hasan, Mohammad Saifuddin and Nurul Hasan in place of Shoriful Islam, Jaker Ali and Rishad Hossain.
The visitors hold a 1-0 lead in the three-match series after winning the first game by 39 runs.
