12.3 to Harnoor Singh, Nisbet strikes. Short ball on the leg stump, Harnoor goes for the pull but can only glove it behind. 37/2 45.6 to SK Rasheed, two in two for Australia. Or is it? They are checking upstairs if the catch was clean. The soft signal is out. A length ball outside off, Rasheed smashed it low to the left of the point fielder but did he take it on the volley? Don't think we will have the right angle to be sure either way. So I guess the third umpire will have to go with the on-field decision. And it's out. Rasheed walks back for 94. 241/4

7.4 to A Raghuvanshi, the off stump goes for a walk. Delivered from slightly wide of the crease, angling in before it holds its line. Raghuvanshi played for the angle and got beaten on the outside edge. Top of the off stump. 16/1 48.5 to RS Hangargekar, bowled 'im! A yorker on the leg stump, Hangargekar had his front leg out of the way as he swung across but couldn't connect and the ball hit the leg stick. 259/5

1.1 to T Wyllie, huge wicket for India. Full from Ravi, on the stumps, swinging in. Wyllie went for the flick but missed. Was it heading down? The umpire doesn't think so. Up goes the finger and India have an early breakthrough. 3/1 38.6 to L Shaw, back of a length on fourth stump, Shaw tries to uncork a mighty pull now after passing 50 while running out of partners, bottom edges this onto the top of off stump.. 178/9

36.4 to J Sinfield, clever from Kaushal anticipating the charge and fires this wide outside off for a stumping. Sinfield didn't get far down the track, and was nowhere near the pitch of this good length ball on seventh stump flailing over the top of the ball. Basic glovework to get the bails off with Sinfield's back foot still a few inches out.. 167/8
3 | 0 | 11 | 1 | 3.66 | 9 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
16.3 to C Miller, speared in quicker on middle and the change of pace cleverly snatches the wicket. Casual footwork from Miller going onto the back foot to flick through midwicket. Gets the bat down very let and is pinged below the knee roll in front of middle. Raghuvanshi had been flighting most of his deliveries but this is darted in much flatter and quicker and was skidding onto leg stump. Strong appeal upheld immediately.. 71/2

17.3 to C Kellaway, soft, soft dismissal. A length ball outside off, comes slower off the wicket but turns and bounces. Kellaway was on the back foot and he half-punched it. The ball lobbed towards short midwicket where Sindhu took a simple catch. 73/3 29.6 to W Salzmann, fuller around off, looks to dig it out but instead ends up chipping it back towards the bowler who takes it just below chest height in front of the body. 5/10 on the PDP scale of difficulty, I think. 119/6 31.6 to T Snell, bowled 'im. A length ball around off, this one doesn't turn as the batter goes back to punch and misses. 125/7
6 | 0 | 25 | 2 | 4.16 | 20 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
20.5 to C Connolly, the Australian batters are looking clueless against spin. Fuller-length ball outside off, Connolly tried to sweep it from there but could only top-edge it towards short fine leg. The fielder there took a couple of steps to his right and pouched it. 83/4 24.5 to N Radhakrishnan, he was threatening to do this for quite some time and finally succeeds. A length ball well outside off, was slower in the air. Radhakrishnan tried to steer it towards cover-point but the ball spun in to take the inside edge and ricochets onto the stumps. 101/5 |
