4.1 to DP Conway, another early sweep, beaten again, and he is given out. Conway has a chat with Gaikwad, but decides not to review. The only question perhaps is, has he got himself outside the line? I think it is umpire's call on impact. Other than he has missed the length completely, and also chosen the wrong line. In fact he has not chosen anything. He has premeditated. 32/1 6.1 to RD Gaikwad, first ball after powerplay, and Gaikwad is gone. Axar has wickets off the first ball of both his overs. I think Gaikwad is looking to chip this over extra cover, but the ball holds up in the pitch and he ends up hitting it towards long-off. The fielder there is not all the way to the fence, which allows him to come in and take the catch. 49/2

14.2 to S Dube, he has the field set for this ball, and finally bowls the ball for that field. Short of a length, at his body, 118ks, Dube pulls it into the big side of the ground, and toe-ends it to deep midwicket. 113/5 19.2 to RA Jadeja, same play. Same ball, Jadeja tries the same shot, but this is the slower legcutter, and not full enough. All he manages is a mi9is-hit to long-on. The crowd goes quiet. 164/7 19.5 to MS Dhoni, caught at long-on. pin-drop silence. Just no pace to work with. Slower-ball legcutter, into the pitch, and Dhoni goes down the ground and finds long-on. 166/8

0.2 to DA Warner, wicket second ball. Signs of a slow pitch. These are not slower ones but Chahar is bowling at 127ks, Short, wide, Warner wants to cut again, and again he ends up hitting in front of square. Also unable to get on top of the bounce, and hits it in the air. 0/1 2.3 to PD Salt, what do we know? Short at 126ks can work. The line is a little wider, and the ball stops in the pitch. Salt has to drag the pull, and also the slowness of the pitch makes him check his shot. A top edge ensues, and he is caught at mid-on. 20/2

14.3 to RR Rossouw, is that the final seal on the game? Rossouw has to try a big hit, and he ends up mis-hitting this one to long-on. Actually this ball is quite in the slot, but he has played a bit of a nothing shot. Not a full-blooded sweep, not a straight loft. He is disappointed with himself. 89/5

12.6 to MK Pandey, as plumb as an lbw can get. Pandey is sitting deep in his crease again, looking for an error in length, but Pathirahna bowls a 149ks yorker. You don't really need an umpire to give this one out. A forgettable night for Pandey comes to an end. 84/4 17.5 to AR Patel, lovely deception. Slower ball, 132ks, and Axar is early into it even though the length is right in the slot. It is just too good. Axar ends up checking the shot, and is caught at wide long-on. 116/6 19.5 to Lalit Yadav, finally gets one on target. A slower ball at 130ks, totally flummoxes Lait, and the length ball cannons into the middle of middle stump. 140/8
