4.6 to Z Crawley, Taken at deep square leg, Kelly ran to the left swiftly and took it above head. Ball landed very short, came around chest-height on fourth stump. He committed to the shot but could only manage a top edge.. 39/1 6.4 to SM Whiteman, Whiteman's caught behind in a bid to go fine again! He premeditated the stride across, was a wide one inside the crease. This time, Thornton banged the middle of the pitch, 131ks, and had it angling away. 12.2 to JP Inglis, The leg-side plan works as does the cross-seamer, Inglis top edges a pull straight to deep fine leg. Shortish ball at 137ks angled in to the body to not allow room, the batter went through with the one-legged pull but could only top edge it.. 96/3 17.1 to AM Hardie, Low catch, great take by Thornton at deep-backward square. Slower one on a length at the pads, Hardie tried helping it away. Didn't get the launch right and it went high, Thornton clasped it with fingers around the ball and just above the ground. 19.1 to HJ Nielsen, Scooped to Behrendorff at deep fine leg. Nielsen went across and got a length ball, tried to lift it but couldn't middle it. Among the easier low catches for Jason. Richardson among the wickets now.. 169/9 19.2 to CJ Boyce, Full toss is clothed to mid-on, Scorchers remain undefeated. Boyce made room and got a fully that must've slipped out. 7.3 to CA Lynn, Shortish ball is carved in the air, Crawley takes a sliding catch running to the left from deep point! Lynn got the room and the pace, 139ks, to work with. He reached out and slashed as hard as he could. But it flew off the bottom, great chase from Crawley and the timing of the dive. Huge wicket for the champs.. 65/2 9.5 to AJ Hose, Slow and wide does the trick, Morris nicks off Hose. Shortish ball invited the cut and Hose's power couldn't lead to timing. In the end, he edged it and Inglis took a good low catch.. 91/3 15.6 to MW Short, Spooned to mid-off, Short gone. Is that the game? It was pitched right up but on leg stump, Short's front foot was out the way and he tried to lift it into the off side. Shovelled it out of the ground and couldn't clear the tall Behrendorff at the edge of the ring. 153/4 17.2 to J Overton, Top edge... and it's a low catch for deep third, Morris has four! Length ball on top of middle. Overton cleared the front leg and tried slugging across the line. It ballooned off the edge and Richardson came in to take a good catch in front. 157/6 17.4 to JJ Bazley, Nine-pin stuff, Morris has five! 136ks on a short length, didn't rise much. 16.4 to T Kelly, Agar gets it into the breadbasket, Tye has 150 BBL wickets, both set batters gone! Tye went into the pitch and at the body, didn't give Kelly much pace. The pull didn't come with out-and-out power and went straight to deep-backward square.. 155/5 18.3 to HTRJY Thornton, Thornton skies a pull and Inglis takes a good running catch. He ran with the gloves on to square leg and dove full length to take it just above ground. Was a shortish ball at the body. 161/8 | ||||||||||
