He looks for an on-the-up drive, gets a thin inside-edge through to Kundu who does the rest. 53/1 45.5 to Faisal Shinozada, Devendran finds the breakthrough, at last! But the damage is already done. Bowls a hard length ball on the stumps, moves away from the wicket and goes for the wild swing of the bat, misses the line and length and the middle stump is uprooted. He felt the ball was much fuller than it actually was. 9.3 to V Sooryavanshi, The short ball brings about Sooryavanshi's dismissal again! And Afghanistan have finally drawn first blood. The key question: is the damage already done? Banged in short cramping him up for room on middle stump. The ball gets big on him as he goes for pull. He is no position to play the pull and ends up top-edging to midwicket who takes a simple catch. 90/1 26.2 to A Mhatre, Sadat grabs a stunner! Fuller length ball and Mhatre plays the flick shot, closes the face of the bat early and skies it high towards deep midwicket.
