28.2 to HH Gibbs, Gibbs shuffles right across the stumps and tries to flick the full length delivery outside off over short fine leg but fails to connect and it ricochets of the thigh pad on to the stumps. Fine innings from Gibbs.. 158/5

11.2 to JH Kallis, massive wicket, and an even bigger controversy looming here. Kallis swishes loosely outside off to a ball that nips off the seam, and appears to beat the bat. Prior claims a comfortable edge and appeals, and Simon Taufel - after a consultation with his colleague - refers the decision upstairs. The third umpire, Ian Gould, can only adjudicate on whether the ball carried, not whether there was an edge or not. And so, Kallis has to go. And he is livid ... But the snickometer shows there was an edge.. 75/2 27.2 to JP Duminy, Flintoff takes out Duminy. He backed outside leg and went for the slog across the line but skied it up and was caught by Bell at short midwicket. 155/4 31.2 to VD Philander, fuller in length, around off stump, Philander went for the lofted shot, got too much under the ball and immediately realised he is going to hole out; put his head down as he scampered across and his gut feeling was spot on. Straight to long-off.. 179/6
7 | 0 | 34 | 1 | 4.85 | 21 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
20.2 to AB de Villiers, swiped straight to deep midwicket. Samit Patel gets into the act. It was floated on the off, de Villiers cleared the front foot and went for the slog sweep but straight to the man in the deep.. 113/3
