Ned Leonard claimed five wickets against his former county as Glamorgan shocked South Group leaders Somerset with a nail-biting two-run Vitality Blast win at Taunton.
The visitors posted 176 for six after losing the toss, Dan Douthwaite top-scoring with 56 off 32 balls, with three fours and four sixes, while Colin Ingram hit 55 from 33 deliveries. Matt Henry finished with two for 15 from four overs.

Superb scores in the 80s for third-wicket pair Will Luxton and James Wharton helped Yorkshire maintain their slim quarter-final hopes in the Vitality Blast with a dominant 41-run win over fellow strugglers Worcestershire Rapids at Headingley.
Wharton, a T20 centurion against the Rapids here in 2023, top-scored with 88 in Yorkshire's 233 for 6. He shared 134 inside 12 overs with Luxton, whose 81 represented a career best score. Both faced 47 balls.

Birmingham Bears boosted their chances of qualifying for the Vitality Blast quarter-finals for a fifth consecutive season as they eased past Leicestershire Foxes at the Uptonsteel County Ground, winning by six wickets with 10 balls to spare.
The Foxes were bowled out for 154 in 19.3 overs, Pakistan international pace bowler Hasan Ali finishing with 4 for 22 - all four wickets in the opening powerplay. Sol Budinger made 51 off 24 balls but allrounder Logan van Beek's 26 was the next best score, Richard Gleeson and Danny Briggs picking up two wickets each for the Bears.

Durham 231 for 5 (Ackermann 83*, Lees 77) beat Nottinghamshire 182 (Aldridge 5-29) by 49 runs
Colin Ackermann made 83 off 33 balls and Durham made their record T20 score as they returned to Vitality Blast action with a 49-run defeat of Nottinghamshire Outlaws at the Banks Homes Riverside.
On a run-stuffed evening in the North East, the home side made 231 for 5 and the visitors replied with 182 all out, Kasey Aldridge, who had only taken two T20 wickets previously, finishing with a career-best 5 for 29 from 2.4 overs. The win is Durham's fifth in this year's Blast and clearly strengthens their bid to qualify for the knockout stages.

Day three's claim on the "moving day" moniker in a Test match was given extra credence at Edgbaston. While the situation in this second Test at stumps was not all that different to how it began - India ahead by plenty, England ruing various mistakes with ball and then bat - this was as stirring, emotional and mesmerising as this format gets.
It began with Mohammed Siraj prising out Joe Root and Ben Stokes with successive deliveries in the second over of the day, and he would close England's innings with the final three to finish with 6 for 70. This was Siraj's fourth five-wicket haul, and first on these shores, confirming a first-innings lead of 180 that would eventually swell to 244 by the close, for the loss of just Yashasvi Jaiswal, trapped lbw by Josh Tongue.

The Blaze reasserted their Women's Vitality Blast qualification charge with a rock-solid 37-run victory over Hampshire at Queen's Park, Chesterfield.
Kirstie Gordon's side bounced back from their defeat to Warwickshire by recovering from a scrappy start to reach 188 for six thanks to Heather Graham (73, 47 balls) and Ella Claridge (51 not out, 36) who added 76 from 51 balls for the fifth wicket. Ellyse Perry, on her debut, took a wicket with her first ball for Hampshire on the way to two for 23.

England overcame an astounding collapse and a rash of fielding errors to defeat India by five runs and keep their T20I series alive in a last-ball thriller at the Kia Oval.
England squandered the most promising of starts at 137 without loss in the 16th over - built on excellent half-centuries by Sophia Dunkley and Danni Wyatt-Hodge - by losing nine wickets for 31 runs in the space of 25 balls. Deepti Sharma and Arundhati Reddy claimed three wickets apiece and N. Shree Charani two.

Renshaw scored 80 off 84 balls and McSweeney blasted an unbeaten 85 off 63 balls in Friday's match at Marrara Oval to help propel Australia A to a formidable 332 for 4.
