Alfred Diver, who was generally known as Ducky, was a reliable professional batsman, and also a decent roundarm bowler, mainly for Cambridgeshire at a time they were among the leading counties. He was one of the 12 professionals who made the first major international tour to North America in the autumn of 1859.
