Wicketkeeper-batter Harry Duke emulated Sachin Tendulkar, no less, in July 2021, when he opened the batting for Yorkshire against Leicestershire in the Royal London Cup, and anchored a 328-run chase with a brilliant 125. At the age of 19 years and 322 days, he was the youngest Yorkshire player to make a List A century since Tendulkar (19 years, 100 days) against Lancashire in 1992.

Duke's first-class debut had come in that same 2021 season, and he held his place in the side until midway through 2022, when a downturn in form led to a return to second-team cricket. With 546 runs in six matches, however, he took the demotion in his stride and captained Yorkshire to the Second XI Championship.

Duke made his England U19 debut in December 2019 in Antigua, having impressed with the gloves in the ECB Young Lions Super-4s and for Yorkshire's Second XI. He was Jordan Cox's back-up as keeper for England's 2020 U19 World Cup campaign.
