That's all we have for you. Thanks for your company and your comments for enlivening the game. Pakistan have taken the ODIs 2-0, with one more to play. Hope you'll be with us then as well
Azhar Ali is the Man of the Match "Good performance from the team. Obviously you want to perform as captain. It's been fabulous in both the series. All the seniors have helped guide me, they have taught me to concentrate on my game and focus on the controllables. Working on my batting, modern cricket has become fast and you need to keep pace with it and I hope with the grace of God, I can. Great effort from the boys, bowling was very good on a batting wicket to keep them to 268. Everyone knows we have a long way to go, but everyone is giving an effort. Thanks to the crowd as well"
Taqi Muhammad: "Has anybody noticed that Azhar Ali strike rate in all but one ODI since he became Captain has been 90+?"
"Guys tried really hard. Raz and Chamu played really well. Lots of effort out there. Thought it was a drier wicket, still 20-30 short," says Hamilton Masakadza, "Don't get to play that many games, so the guys have to rally and pull something out the hat."
11.50 pm The two Pakistan batsman walk off with broad smiles. Zimbabwe might wonder what they could have done better. Admittedly, with the bowlers they had and the score to which they were limited to, this might well be as far as they could have gotten. Only legspinner Greame Cremer posed enough threat. Their medium pacers were blunted on a healthy batting track. Indeed, Azhar Ali's wicket, after a well-controlled 102, looked to come off a tired shot than something of the bowler's doing. Then Shoaib Malik and Haris Sohail finished it off without much fuss
Arslaan: "hearing the crowd chanting 'ZIM-BAB-WE!!' Is actually really heart warming. Appreciation being shown to the visitors for bringing international cricket back to Pakistan :D "
