9:56pm Amy Jones joins the rest of the players to join the celebrations and pose with the trophy. What a start for Jones' captaincy stint, beginning with a win against India. Lots of laughs in that young team and you'd imagine it could be a long night for them. The players now go towards the spectators as they oblige for some selfies and autographs. From us here, that's all we have from this T20I series. The ODI's come thick and fast, too, with the first one scheduled for Sunday. Hope to have your company for that, too. Till the next time, good night, on behalf of Miller and myself, Sudarshanan. Take care, ciao!

Hypocaust: "This series has featured the most runs scored by teenagers (125) for England women in a bilateral T20I series, beating the 120 scored in 3 matches against New Zealand in 2007."

9:47pm Time for the presentations, starting with player of the match, Sophie Ecclestone: "[On the catch to dismiss Mandhana] Nice to take responsibility and do it at the start. Katherine [Brunt] has taken a break and there are change of roles. I have enjoyed being the vice-captain in this series, take responsibility and talk to youngsters. Amy has been a good captain. Three players have been missing, good to see youngsters step up."

Sophia Dunkley, player of the series: "For us this series, I am proud of the girls because we are missing three of our key players. A few of us tried to step up since it is a young team. But we pulled together well and the results speak for themselves. I want to go hard in the first few overs but I try to soak up the pressure and it will come gradually. This group with the young players through, we are going to have a shot at the T20 World Cup next year."

Harmanpreet Kaur, India captain: "We were 20 runs short today but credit to our bowlers. Because of them we were in the game. [On Radha's bowling] She is someone who wants to give 200%. We love to have characters like her in the team. Even Richa batted well especially after losing quick wickets. Because of them we could fight till the last ball. We need to stick to our strengths. We were not able to bat the way we would have liked to today. If we can build more partnership, that can give us good motivation to fight."

Amy Jones, England captain: "It feels really good. Proud of the whole group, the way they stepped up big time is brilliant. Quite a daunting experience coming into the first game, but everyone was switched on. It was not ideal circumstances to start in Derby and hence this feels even more special. [On Capsey] She's so good. She has got all the shots and plays so freely. Refreshing to see and thankfully, she is on her side. [Ecclestone] She has been brilliant and has been helping out everyone at the bowler's end. She is a bankable, world class player. Just keeping the intent we've shown. The second game shows that at times going out hard is not going to pay off, but if we back ourselves, we can do well, that's what we will aim for in the ODIs."

Krishnan Ramesh: "Shafali should look at the replay of shots in this series. Her shots look more like that of tailender than a of a batter unlike Mandhana. She has to start rotating strike or learn to do so"

9:31pm England continue their upper-hand over India in T20Is, and this time it was all thanks to Glenn and Ecclestone sharing five wickets before Capsey aced the chase in a calm manner. It was almost one-way traffic once India's top order caved in in the face of some disciplined England bowling at the start. But Vastrakar and Ghosh ensured India had something to bowl at. Radha and Rana maintained pressure in the middle overs with Vastrakar mixing her lengths and pace. However, it all turned out to be futile with young Capsey yet again showing her wares. It was, of course, set up well by Dunkley, who was a tad unfortunate to miss out on a fantastic half-century.
