0.5 to MA Ouma, short and wide from Connell, Ouma top-edges the cut shot and Cusack tkes a fine catch diving forward at third man. 6/1 6.5 to AA Obanda, tries to hit a length delivery over mid-off but the ball goes staight up, it looked like it would loop over McCallan on the edge of the circle but he took a fantastic catch diving to his left. 27/4

1.6 to NN Odhiambo, another early breakthrough! On a good length and cutting back into the batsman, he was hit on the back foot and it was an easy decision for Umpire Hair. 12/2 3.6 to KO Otieno, big problems for Kenya and Otieno is gone top-edging a pull shot to Connell at short fine-leg. 15/3
3 | 1 | 3 | 2 | 1.00 | 16 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
10.2 to RG Aga, bowled! Full ball which Aga tried to drive through the off-side, the ball may have cut back off the pitch to send the off-stump flying. 48/6 10.4 to JK Kamande, and another one! Hiting the leg-stump this time as Kamande got too far accross, super bowling from Cusack. 48/7

9.1 to SO Tikolo, he gets a wicket with his first ball, very like the lbw of Odiambo as the ball cut back off the pitch to trap Tikilo on the back foot. 38/5 13.4 to TM Odoyo, a loose shot from Odoyo, he went for a big drive outside his off-stump, the ball cut back in through the gate to take the off-stump bails. 57/8 13.5 to PJ Ongondo, gone again! It was a similar ball and it again it cut back in to beat the loose drive of Ongondo, this time hitting middle stump. 57/9

2.1 to WTS Porterfield, gone! Very good catch at second slip by Tikilo after Portfield nicked a ball outside the off stump, hope for the Kenyans. 2/1 2.6 to GC Wilson, he's gone as well, short ball and he went for the pull shot, a top-edge took the ball into midwicket where Suji took a very good catch running back. 3/2

12.2 to AR White, gone! Not a good shot from White, going for the pull shot which seemed to hurry onto him, Varaiya takes a smart catch at fine-leg. 42/4 12.4 to AR Cusack, he's gone now too, tried to turn the ball into the leg-side, he got a leading edge which lobbed to Obana in the covers. 44/5

11.4 to AC Botha, beaten by a slower ball as he tried to heave the ball down the ground- the ball hit off-stump. A useful innings by Botha in the circumstances. 41/3 15.4 to NJ O'Brien, caught behind! Flatter ball and it skidded onto O'Brien- he got an edge as he tried to cut, a top edge rebounding off Ouma's gloves and lobbing to Tikiolo at slip. 49/6 |
