Glamorgan Dragons' Friends Life t20 floodlit clash against Hampshire Royals was washed out by the rain at Cardiff.
Steady rain relented briefly for the match - reduced to a 17-over contest - to begin an hour later than scheduled at 8.30pm, but in front of fewer than 1,000 spectators.
Glamorgan won the toss and put the Royals in to bat, but only one over of the contest from seamer Will Owen was possible leaving the visitors, who omitted Simon Jones from their starting line-up, five without loss.
Continuous heavy rain forced the umpires - George Sharp and Jeremy Lloyds - to abandon the game at 9.05pm.
Both sides took a point each from the no result leaving Hampshire a point adrift of South Group leaders Sussex Sharks in second. The Dragons are in fourth place four points behind Hampshire.
