6.4 to Ibrahim Zadran, it was coming and Blessing Muzaarabani get's his man. It was pitched on middle and leg, Zadran closes the face of the balde touch too early which means the ball catches the leading edge and Muzarabani calls for it and pockets a good catch. 21/1 44.3 to Rahmat Shah, is it gone and yes..! Chakabva once again exhibits how good he is. Back of a length, came back in and cuts him in half, gets an inside edge and flew to the left of the keeper. Chakabva again swiftly moves to his left, puts in a big dive and grabs the ball.. 219/3 46.1 to Hashmatullah Shahidi, Muzarabani gets his third.. Back of a length on off, angling away. Shahidi gave himself a bit of room as he hared down the track and wild hack across the line, gets a top edge and Tiripano third man region takes an easy catch. 232/4 46.3 to Mohammad Nabi, he gets his fourth.. Length ball, gets a bit of bounce because of his height. Nabi clears his front foot and looks to heave over deep midwicket, miscues it completely. For a second we thought there might be a misjudgment as Raza at cover and Shumba was scrolling in from deep. Raza bails out and Shumba swoops in and takes a good catch. 234/5

10.5 to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, some reward for tight bowling and Gurbaz has to walk back. Back of a length on off, Gurbaz initially thought of dabbing but tries to bail out at the last moment. And much to his dismay the ball bounced a touch more than he expected and brushes the outside edge. Ervine waiting at second slip takes a good catch. 38/2

2.1 to RW Chakabva, Top-edge off the pull, taken at midwicket! It was on a length, angling away outside off, Chakabva was done for pace and the fielder settled under it and took it easily.. 5/1 49.6 to TL Chatara, bangs in short on off, Chatara who stayed the leg side of the ball tries to play the upper cut, no pace to work with which means total power failure. Nabi out there takes as east catch. 216/10

48.1 to B Muzarabani, It was coming and Muzarabani has to go. Angled in from around the wicket, Muzarabami looks to play the wild swing, misses the ball by a long way and the middle pole goes for an evening walk.. 216/9

14.5 to CR Ervine, Superb caught and bowled taken in the follow-through! It was a full ball just outside off, check driven to low to the left of the bowler running in front. He bent quickly and took it. The fielders celebrate with him, who threw it in the air in celebration. 66/2

43.4 to Sikandar Raza, this looks plumb.. Raza failed to read the wrong one and it was full. The ball keeps a shade low and Raza playing from the crease. Hits low on the front pad and Langton Rusere raises his finger. Raza looks disappointed and doesn't opt for a review, wisely so.. 196/7 45.2 to DT Tiripano, Tiripano had no clue whatsoever..! Full on middle stump, quicker onto too... spat across the batter who was hanging on the back foot and off stump is pegged back.. 203/8

21.1 to W Madhevere, gone! As easy as it gets. It was tossed up on off stump, real loopy delivery. Madhevere tries to close the face of the blade in pursuit of some runs on the leg side but fails to gauge the pace on the ball. It was slower than the spinners he faced so far in the game. Leading edge dies on Nabi who comes forward and takes it. Long walk back for Madhevere who was really looking good.. 91/3 27.2 to I Kaia, big loud shout and Langton Rusere obliges. Tosses up on off, spins in slightly to beat the flick. Thuds on the front pad. Kaia without consulting his partner calls for a review. Replay shows the impact was in the line and it's hitting the stumps. Zimbabwe lose a wicket and a review. 104/4 31.6 to M Shumba, lovely delivery, beats the bat or was there an edge, loud appeal for caught behind, the keeper is convinced, they review it. Spike on the Ultra Edge, Afghanistan retain the review, a good one.. 124/5 39.2 to RP Burl, lovely delivery pitches outside the off stump and goes on, hits the off stump, Burl plays down the wrong line.. 164/6 |
