Fall of wickets: 1-6 (Dinesh Chandimal, 2.2 ov), 2-15 (Shehan Jayasuriya, 3.4 ov), 3-31 (Tillakaratne Dilshan, 6.1 ov), 4-57 (Angelo Mathews, 10.6 ov), 5-100 (Milinda Siriwardana, 16.1 ov), 6-104 (Dasun Shanaka, 16.6 ov), 7-105 (Chamara Kapugedera, 17.2 ov), 8-125 (Thisara Perera, 18.4 ov), 9-138 (Nuwan Kulasekara, 19.6 ov)
2.2 to LD Chandimal, gone. Chandimal's exuberant slog doesn't work. Nehra bangs it on a good length on leg, Chandimal backs away and comes down, looking to go over midwicket but gets a thin inside edge on its way to the keeper. Had he stayed in his normal stance, it would have been a bad ball on his hips with short fine leg up but Chandimal looked to go hard and pays the price.. 6/1
3.4 to GSNFG Jayasuriya, late appeal and gone. Terrific delivery that, Dhoni collects and belatedly appeals. Good length, top-of-off. Jayasuriya pokes at it away from his body and gets the thinnest of snicks through to the keeper. Audible sound and given. Could have only been the bat. 15/2
17.2 to CK Kapugedera, taken. Wow, what sweet timing, but he has picked out sweeper cover to perfection. Full delivery outside off, Kapugedara smashes an inside-out drive with amazing timing and it carries to Pandya at sweeper cover who takes a really good catch, backtracking.. 105/7
6.1 to TM Dilshan, taken. The big wicket of Dilshan. Pandya strikes with his first ball. A well-directed bouncer on middle and Dilshan pulls, but fails to keep it down. Goes straight down Ashwin's throat at fine leg.. 31/3
10.6 to AD Mathews, big big wicket this. Full outside off, Mathews brings an angled bat down late and gets a thick inside edge which clatters into the stumps. The crucial wicket of Mathews just when he was looking to explode. How much will that effect SL?. 57/4
16.1 to TAM Siriwardana, taken. Tossed up on off, Siriwardana clears one foot and launches it high in the air towards long-on where Raina settles under it to take an easy catch.. 100/5
18.4 to NLTC Perera, lovely bowling. Sees Perera advancing and bowls it very slow but very wide outside off. So wide that it is called a wide. Perera comes down but fails to connect with a big heave, wrong shot selection to that ball. But Dhoni whips off the bails in a jiffy and the umpire doesn't need the help of his upstairs colleague.. 125/8

Fall of wickets: 1-11 (Shikhar Dhawan, 1.6 ov), 2-16 (Rohit Sharma, 3.2 ov), 3-70 (Suresh Raina, 11.1 ov), 4-121 (Yuvraj Singh, 16.5 ov), 5-125 (Hardik Pandya, 17.5 ov)
1.6 to S Dhawan, got him, excellent delivery. Slanting across into the corridor, the length is just right, and Dhawan is late getting forward to push into the covers, his front foot is still landing on its heel when the ball kisses his outside edge through to the keeper. 11/1
3.2 to RG Sharma, got him! Beautiful length, and he shifted his line slightly wider to entice the drive away from the body. Goes for the drive on the up, it seams away slightly - just about straightens - and the nick is pouched nicely by Kapugedera at slip, with two hands, a couple of inches above the ground. 16/2
16.5 to Yuvraj Singh, digs it in short now, and that's a well-directed bouncer. Yuvraj takes his eye off the ball a little while swiveling to hook, and top-edges to the man at fine leg. 121/4
17.5 to HH Pandya, bowled him! Herath has just worked Pandya over here. Bowled it much quicker, on a good length, and got it to straighten. Pandya's front shoulder opens up again as he looks to whip across the line, and the ball beats his outside edge and pegs back off stump. 125/5
11.1 to SK Raina, length ball on middle and leg, and Shanaka has struck first ball! Looks to step inside the line and hit over mid-off, the ball is a little shorter than he thought, and it hits high on the bat and loops high in the air, and is caught on the juggle by mid-off. 70/3
