0.3 to Saif Hassan, edged and gone! There's a duck for the debutant. Angled full, he pokes at this without any feet movement, excellent catch at second slip.. 3/1 21.5 to Mominul Haque, thin edge and gone! This is smart bowling but not very good from Mominul. He's made him drive and feel for the ball with the angle in at the off stump. This one is floated a little wider and doesn't come back in. Mominul chases for the cover drive and gets a thin edge. The partnership is broken. 62/3 40.3 to Mahmudullah, screamer from Shafiq at third slip! Mahmudullah goes chasing for trouble. Afridi speared this full and wide, he went after that one, trying to carve behind point. Managed to get a thick edge and the ball was flying, literally flying. Shafiq moved instinctively and put both his hands out in diving to his right to pluck a stunner.. 107/5 80.6 to Rubel Hossain, full, straight and gone! Gets the ball to curl back in nice and late, Rubel plays all around it and hears the stumps rattle. Fourth for Afridi. 229/8
17 | 9 | 19 | 2 | 1.11 | 93 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
1.4 to Tamim Iqbal, they take the review and he's gone. Tamim made a triple hundred last week, out for not much today. Fell over, got into a tangle playing across the line, pays the price for it as hawkeye confirms this would've smashed off stump. The decision to take the review is excellent, Pakistan on top.. 3/2 33.6 to Najmul Hossain Shanto, gone! Plays away from the body, looking to flay behind point. Gets the thinnest of edges and Rizwan gleefully accepts.. 95/4
16 | 0 | 61 | 1 | 3.81 | 70 | 11 | 0 | 0 | 1 | |
81.2 to Mohammad Mithun, Has Naseem got his man? Nigel Llong is convinced there's an inside edge, is asking his partner if it carried to the keeper. Not out is the call. Azhar wants to check if they can review this. or so it seems. Yes, Pakistan review DRS confirms there was glove and it carried to the keeper. So Pakistan get it spot on. Nine down, end of an excellent innings.. 233/9

55.3 to Litton Das, another big lbw appeal. Full ball traps him in front of leg stump as he looks to sweep. Pakistan review. This was very full and it definitely turned towards the off stump. Might have pitched outside. Was too full for that shot. And too risky too, that has pitched in line! Haris makes amends for the drop, although it is the other batsman. For Liton, it's the same old story. A flowing, punchy innings that doesn't last long enough yet again. Shuffles this time for the sweep and is trapped. That's hitting middle stump. The golden arm of Haris delivers once more. 161/6 78.5 to Taijul Islam, oh, dear. Did all the hard work, dug in, frustrated Pakistan and has then gifted his wicket away. Looking to smash this to Islamabad, ends up slicing it to mid-off where Yasir, running back, takes an excellent catch.. 214/7 |

95.1 to Asad Shafiq, is there an edge on that? Yes there is! Ebadot joins in. Has had a lovely spell this morning after a struggle yesterday. Slams this in the corridor, at a good length and nipping it back. Shafiq is slow to get forward and bring his bat down at this and gets a thin edge through to the keeper. 353/5
29 | 4 | 86 | 3 | 2.96 | 134 | 11 | 0 | 0 | 1 | |
1.2 to Abid Ali, got him! Oh that's a poor shot. Short of a length and very wide outside off, throws his hands at it but he's lost balance because his feet are stiff and close together. Very far away from the body, and it's a thick edge that carries nicely. 2/1 22.2 to Azhar Ali, taken at slip! Abu Jayed breaks the partnership! Most disciplined bowler today. Length ball outside off, not too menacing by the looks of it. But it's a weak flap at it from Azhar, far away from his body. Thick edge goes to the only fielder in the cordon. 93/2 88.1 to Babar Azam, gets him with his first ball of the day! Babar stuck halfway between a cut and a leave, not a great response to this length ball outside off. He expects that to come straight on, but it curves away late. In the end he can only hang an awkward, angled bat out at that and steer it straight to first slip. 342/4
25.5 | 3 | 113 | 3 | 4.37 | 101 | 14 | 0 | 1 | 1
102.1 to Mohammad Rizwan, strikes immediately! Rizwan looks to pull from outside off, but this keeps a touch low and the top edge is pouched safely by Mahmudullah running in from fine leg. Bangladesh's morning continues to get better.. 374/6 110.2 to Yasir Shah, Struck on the pad by this late inswinger. Original decision not out. Bangladesh review. The late tail in beat Yasir. No bat on it, although the ball was very close to it. Initial impression is that this was sliding down leg. That should be the only bone of contention. Ball tracking shows this would've crashed into leg stump. Good review by Bangladesh. . Yasir was looking to flick, somehow closed the face of the bat too early.. 415/7 112.5 to Shaheen Shah Afridi, that looks plumb. Pakistan will review it. Length ball angled in at the stumps from around the wicket. He defends inside the line and is struck on the back leg in front of off stump...it's umpire's call on impact and on stumps. They'll keep the review but Afridi must go. 422/8
41 | 6 | 139 | 2 | 3.39 | 172 | 13 | 3 | 0 | 0 | |
53.3 to Shan Masood, through him! Shan can't believe what's just happened, and I'm right there with him because this is soft. Full, lobbed up at off stump. Innocuous delivery that's there for a drive down the ground. He's just brought the bat down late on it and it has ended up hitting middle stump. Almost leaden-footed over there. A pristine innings ends in mild fashion. 205/3 121.3 to Haris Sohail, picks out deep midwicket. Good bowling from Taijul. Changes the line to cramp him, tosses it outside leg stump this time. Sohail steps out and gets close to the pitch to have a swing at it, but it comes off the inside half of the bat and is taken easily. 442/9

45.6 to Mominul Haque, big appeal for lbw and it's given. Mominul reviews. Full and tailing in at middle stump. Gets the front leg across off stump and looks to flick. Rapped right in front. But the bat was very close...there are murmurs on Ultra Edge but it could be either of ball hitting pad, bat hitting pad, or ball hitting inside edge. Therefore, it is inconclusive. And the on-field decision will stand.. 130/7
17.4 | 6 | 33 | 1 | 1.86 | 92 | 5 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
57.5 to Rubel Hossain, that looks plumb. Given. Length just outside off, cutting back in at middle stump. Brings an angled bat down at it and is rapped on the knee roll of the back foot, right in front of middle stump.. 156/8
8.2 | 2 | 26 | 4 | 3.12 | 38 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
8.6 to Saif Hassan, castled! This one nipped back in off a length, kept a touch low and sneaked through the gap between bat and pad. Saif's promising stay ends.. 39/1 40.4 to Najmul Hossain Shanto, huge appeal for lbw, Pakistan are very interested. Azhar checks with the bowler, keeper and signals for a review. This one came back in a long way to hit Shanto on the right thigh pad or thereabouts. The height may be the only bone of consideration here. And what a good review it is, ball tracking confirms this would've crashed into leg stump. Measured call to take the review. It wasn't impulsive, they all collectively felt it was worth a shout and boy, have they been proved right or what? Right at the fag end of the day. This will lift Pakistan just as Bangladesh were beginning to dream of wiping out the deficit with not more than two down.. 124/3 40.5 to Taijul Islam, full, straight and gone! What a ball from Naseem. Make that two in two. This was angled back in from wide of the crease, the ball veered in late to beat the inside edge and hit him low on the pad. Naseem didn't even bother appealing. Nigel Llong sent him on his bike almost immediately. 124/4 40.6 to Mahmudullah, edged and gone! Naseem had done it. Hat-trick! He has lit up this Test and how. Joy in the Pakistan camp. He bowled this full and wide. This was there for the drive even though the ball moved away just a little, Mahmudullah couldn't hold back but was late on the shot. Got a thick edge that flew low but Haris pouched it superbly. He needed to stay low, moved instinctively to his right to pluck that. What a find this Naseem Shah is.. 124/5
17.2 | 3 | 58 | 4 | 3.34 | 79 | 7 | 2 | 0 | 0 | |
15.5 to Tamim Iqbal, that looks good! Yes, it's given. The Yasir we all know, being menacing, making the ball bite off the surface. But was that going down leg? Remember, he's bowling around the wicket. Gets a length ball to turn in and catch him on the back foot, trying to defend the ball. He's hit on the back leg by the looks of it, after playing inside the line. On a middle and leg stump line. Chooses not to review that. We'll see the replays soon. But these are encouraging signs, Tamim looked completely flustered against Yasir leading up to this wicket. Replays show it is clipping leg stump and would have remained umpire's call if they had reviewed. 53/2 44.5 to Mohammad Mithun, bowled him with a skiddy deivery! Rocks back to pull, but he was through with the shot even before the ball arrived. Missed it completely and the middle stump took a walk. Yasir goes off on his celebratory run. Bangladesh are folding after keeping Pakistan at bay for a better part of this session. Half-century in the first innings, duck in the second. That's how cricket goes sometimes.. 126/6 60.4 to Litton Das, big appeal for lbw as he's struck on the pad by a full delivery. Nigel Llong says not out and Pakistan review. Liton went for an expansive sweep, but this was too full. The only bone of consideration was if it was drifting down leg. But actually, the ball spun away after pitching. I think this is good, very, very good. Yes, decision overturned on review, Liton is out. Ball tracking confirms this would've crashed into middle and leg.. 165/9 62.2 to Abu Jayed, taken at slip! Has a wild slog at this, only manages to top-edge it and Shafiq takes it running back from slip. Nicely pouched and there's the Test for Pakistan. Their second consecutive Test victory at home, following-on from their win over Sri Lanka in Karachi. This has been an absolutely clinical win. Pakistan have bossed their way from start to finish.. 168/10
