1.2 to WU Tharanga, beauty and gone! Tharanga nicks off. Full delivery outside off, the ball may not have come back as much as Tharanga expected, maybe some away shape too, just enough lateral movement to have Tharanga driving away from his bat. A thin outside edge is easily taken. 8/1 3.2 to MD Gunathilaka, the top-edge, taken! Somehow. Short delivery around middle and leg, Gunathilaka was hurried through his pull, could only get a top edge on his pull. Delport runs back from short fine leg, keeps his eyes on the ball despite square leg running in. Hangs on. 19/3

2.2 to Sabbir Rahman, edged and gone. The carrom ball, superb bowling. Full outside off, Sabbir doesn't read it, gets forward and drives but the ball deviates away. A thick outside edge flies to slip who fumbles the catch, but the ball pops back up for him to catch. Excellent bowling, kept Sabbir circumspect. 13/2 4.6 to RA Whiteley, poor option. Flight outside off, Whiteley comes charging at Narine but does not get anywhere close to the pitch, which means the ball has enough room to turn and beat the outside edge. He is way down and the keeper does the rest. That's the 300th T20 wicket for Narine. 29/4 12.6 to Mohammad Sharif, chopped on! Sylhet are 53 for 9! Another offbreak, Sharif doesn't pick it from the hand, but adjusts his hands after reading it off the pitch, but it's a fraction of a second too late. A thick inside edge knocks into off stump. 53/9

5.6 to Nasir Hossain, another juggled catch from Delport at slip. Lots of flight around off, Nasir stays low, looking for another slog sweep, but the ball takes the top edge again. Lobs to Delport at slip, who somehow parries it back up. He takes it on the second attempt anyway. A wicket in every over apart from the first. Shambles.. 33/5 9.3 to PW Hasaranga, another big shot, another wicket. Hitting boundaries on this surface is not easy, but Sylhet keep making the same mistakes. Quick around leg, and full. Hasaranga's big slog sweep results in a top edge, another one, lobs to Shakib at cover who runs back and takes a rather simple catch. 49/6 11.2 to TT Bresnan, hit straight to long-off. Three for Afridi. Flight outside off, Bresnan picks a good area to hit the ball, inside-out over cover, but the ball is full on middle. Bresnan just chips a catch to long-off, too straight to pick the gap over cover. Hit it much straighter than he wanted. 51/7 11.6 to Nurul Hasan, 97 kph, Afridi has four. No fumble from Delport this time. It was another googly, slides on, drifts in. Nurul Hasan stays low, but inexplicably tries to scoop the ball over slip, instead of fine leg. The ball hits the splice of the bat and lobs to slip. 52/8

4.1 to Shahid Afridi, pins him lbw! It's the offcutter which fools Afridi as he attempts a flick. The ball pitches on middle, he's through the shot already, it hits his front pad on the knee in line with leg stump. Would it have wandered down? Would it have been high? The umpire says no to both questions. But HawkEye reveals it would miss the sticks. 59/1 4.2 to CS Delport, taken at mid-off! Oh, that's a fairly tame way to go. It's a simple, good length ball on off stump and Delport has basically given catching practice, not caring enough to put in that little bit of power that would have helped the ball over Nasir Hossain's head. 59/2
