That's it from us for tonight. Come back tomorrow for another doubleheader from Trinidad. I'm Peter Della Penna, take care!

Keemo Paul named Man of the Match: "The four wickets is fantastic. Every time I come out I always want to contribute. Hetty is fantastic. Back home we used to contact each other. He's a very dedicated worker and is always up for a challenge. He's a top-class player. I think there's lots more to come from him."

9.00 pm Relatively simple chase for the Amazon Warriors in the end set up by a sterling bowling effort. Patriots were limp on both sides of the ball, and a three-wicket margin flatters them. 18 balls to spare is a much more accurate indicator of the lopsided nature of the match. Paul's four wickets followed up by Hetmyer's second straight fifty is more than enough for the Amazon Warriors.

Drakes to Shepherd, FOUR runs

full length ball on the stumps smashed back through mid-off. Boundary ends it with three overs to spare for the Amazon Warriors.

Drakes to Shepherd, (no ball)

another bouncer clears the batsman too easily. Silly from Drakes. No ball called for the second bouncer of the over. Scores level.

1w
Drakes to Shepherd, 1 wide

bouncer down leg, could've been called a wide on line or height. Bonus run handy for a suddenly nervy Amazon Warriors unit.

16.5
Drakes to Shepherd, no run

yorker on the stumps, kept out by Shepherd.

16.4
1
Drakes to Green, 1 run

short of a length on the stumps, tap and run with soft hands behind point. Hamilton's throw to the striker's end would've been late had it hit.

16.3
Drakes to Green, no run

short on the body, Green awkwardly defends it off the gloves.

Two fresh men at the crease. Green and Shepherd yet to face a ball. Green on strike. Slip comes in.

Drakes to Hetmyer, OUT

Hetmyer tries to end it with one blow, but winds up perishing on the long-on rope. Length ball on sixth stump, he's carted similar balls over midwicket all night but this one splices off the toe of the bat and hangs in the air to be taken a yard in from the boundary. Three wickets remain. Patriots still hanging on. Stranger things have happened....

Shimron Hetmyer c Dunk b Drakes 71 (44b 8x4 3x6) SR: 161.36
16.1
4
Drakes to Hetmyer, FOUR runs

low full toss on a poorly executed yorker attempt, scooped through mid-off and bounces away to the rope.

Emrit will be on a hat-trick ball, if the match makes it to the 18th over... 8 to win with Hetmyer on strike.

Emrit to Paul, OUT

not his night with the bat though! Emrit skids this fullish length ball in from fourth stump, Paul didn't move his feet prodding around his pads, hit below the knee in front of middle. He knows he's toast. Umpire sends him on his way after a brief pause. Would've taken out leg stump.

Keemo Paul lbw b Emrit 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0

Keemo Paul arrives fresh off 4 wickets and a runout in the field. Emrit back over the stumps to the righty.

15.5
W
Emrit to Rutherford, OUT

length ball pitches on fifth stump and skids in from around the wicket. Keeps a touch low too as Rutherford is caught flat-footed heaving for midwicket and it goes under the bat to clang off stump.

Cottrell to Hetmyer, SIX runs

nope, that replacement ball hasn't changed much. Short on off, hammers a pull with authoritahhhh over deep square leg.

Umpires calling for a replacement ball. Current one is greased up from all the dew. Not sure it will matter much for the Patriots. 24 off 31 with six wickets in hand and Hetmyer cruising.

Cottrell to Rutherford, 1 run

full on the stumps, flicked with easy through midwicket.

14.4
Cottrell to Rutherford, no run

finally gets the length right on the yorker, this one on fifth stump, Rutherford plays over the top.

another attempted yorker tails on the legs at shin height, flicked with ease to deep square.

Cottrell to Rutherford, 1 run

attempted yorker is a full toss at the shins, flicked through to deep midwicket.

14.1

Cottrell to Hetmyer, 1 leg bye

slower ball lands very full tailing into the legs, misses a flick and it ricochets off the pads to square leg for an extra.
