7.11pm And so that's a wrap. It's been quite the day in Amstelveen. Valkerie's match report will be up shortly, and have a read of Matt's live reaction to Buttler's epic too. From Alan and MIller, and Ranjith, good night!

Eoin Morgan "The last couple of days has been great, a majority of the senior guys has helped, Phil Salt and Malan coming in early in their ODI careers, then Jos in a world of his own... it's not something we ever get sick of... it's why he's the best white-ball player in the world right now.

"Great to see the hunger within the squad and the proudest thing is no-one takes for granted playing in this team.

"It's better to get it under our belts in the field for 50 overs, it's important, because come next year we won't know what we come up next year. We've worked incredibly hard."

Pieter Seelaar "Getting Jason Roy out was a good moment... but dropping those catches... can't drop the best batsman in the world twice in an over. In that we let ourselves down... this wasn't quite necessary. If we get him in in the 20th over, two-down, it's different. But it's great learning, this will make us better cricketers in the future, but the intimidation was there, the Barmy Army was loud, we have to pull ourselves together and come back on Sunday. It's hard to take now, but if we become better cricketers, it's good learning.

Jos Buttler "The IPL couldn't have gone better for me, coming here in good touch, good wicket, licence to attack. The World T20 went well, the Ashes was tough, I had two months of no cricket, very refreshing, turned up to the IPL with lots of motivation, energy and drive to get the best out of yourself.

On Mott: "Good start for him, isn't it. We have a clear-cut style of play, he wants to sit back and watch the team play, we want to sharpen up in certain areas, and great to see Sam Curran back in an England shirt.

"Trying to work out the conditions, and back my six-hitting, stand stiller and hit sixes."

6.58pm So, England win by a handsome 232 runs, after smashing a litany of batting records in an extraordinary first-innings onslaught. Three centurions, led by Jos Buttler's unbeaten 162 from 70 balls, and with Liam Livingstone's preposterous 66 not out from 22 bringing up the rear. Phil Salt and Malan have days to remember too, poor Philippe Boissevain has a day to forget. He and his fellow leggie Daan van Bunge can reminisce about their harsh treatment one day...

Ram: "I still think this is the highest the Required Run Rate has gone in a match because all the other matches with a higher margin of defeat had the opposition bowled out with far too many overs in hand. " Fair point, it's a thing of beautiful futility either way!

Taha sheikh: "Imagine playing with a 5.3 runrate and still losing by a margin of 200 runs. This England batting is surreal"
