brilliant catch from Sangakkara to end the match as Monty fished to this wider ball. A thick outside edge and Sangakkara took a cracker to his left
Sri Lanka vs England, 5th ODI at Colombo, Oct 13 2007 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Well I hope you've enjoyed our coverage of this series. We'll be back for the Tests, the first of which gets underway at Kandy on December 1. It's good night from me, Will Luke, and it's goodnight from him, Andrew Miller. Good night.
And off go the fireworks, lighting up the ground - clouds of smoke billowing everywhere. A great sight, and a good end to what has been a rousing match for Sri Lanka. England bowled excellently to restrict Sri Lanka to 211 but their batsmen's brains appeared to already be on the flight home. Disappointingly, in losing this match, England are now seventh in the rankings in spite of winning the series. Had they won, they'd have been fourth - unthinkable, really. Anyway, a cracking win by Sri Lanka largely thanks to Fernando's spell.
So, now's Sri Lanka's chance to strike against Monty
yes they can as Bopara has found point
Now then. Can Sri Lanka save the single to keep Monty on strike for the next over

Come on Mahela. Time for Ferdy Fernando

Please, please don't play this out for another 20 overs. I might just lose my mind
a booming inswinger at good pace, but Bopara's looking increasingly settled
firmly defended
A very warm, numb hello to the anaesthetists at Mayday Hospital in Croydon, London, who love us more than their own families. Keep your eye on the needle, chaps...not us
Monty blocks it out
