Rain and wet outfield washed out the final day and the only Youth Test between England Under-19s and Australia Under-19s in Perth ended in a draw.
Australia may have fancied a win despite a strong England reply led by Haseeb Hameed's unbeaten 91, but persistent rain meant no play was possible on the final day. After collapsing for 172 and conceding a 283-run first innings lead, England recovered to end the third day at 342 for 5 on the back of fifties from Hameed, Joe Weatherley and Callum Taylor. Rain then had the final say.
