0.6 to MDKJ Perera, Outstanding grab from Mushfiqur! This was good length and wide, and entices Perera into another drive. But this one has extra bounce on it and takes a thick edge, which flies high to Mushfiqur's left. The Bangladesh keeper though goes completely airborne and grabs this with his left mitt, in front of first slip. Moment of magic. 5/1
45.6 to M Theekshana, taken at deep third! That seemed to have been timed nicely though. That sharp short ball was angling into Theekshana, who was cramped for room as the ball ended on middle and leg. He almost had little option but to have a ramp at that, sending it right into the fielder's reverse-cupped hands. 258/7

12.4 to P Nissanka, inside edges on to middle stump! Nissanka falls after another solid start. He walks back with an expression of a frustrated man. Tanzim kept teasing him with a consistent line just outside off, bowling this one on a good length around sixth stump. Nissanka went flaying at it with a flat bat, perhaps playing early too. The ball took the bottom edge, and clattered on to the stumps. 72/3
48.4 to KIC Asalanka, taken at deep point! That flew off Asalanka's bat, and seemed to have come off the higher side too. Short of a length from Tanzim - this time with rapid pace rather than any change of it - as the ball skidded through outside off. Asalanka looked to slap it, only for the ball to land exactly where Litton was placed. 278/8
48.6 to CAK Rajitha, very well taken by Litton! He was almost getting off balance, while his cap had fallen off too, but he kept his eyes on the ball all along. Placed at deep square leg, he moved to his left to take it reverse cupped. Another short ball from Tanzim - there have been plenty from him today to the tailenders - as this one shaped back in sharply to finish outside leg. Rajitha had a pull at it with his eyes taken off, and though the first impression was that of a six, he fell without scoring in the end. 278/9
1005725.70231300
11.3 to BKG Mendis, good catch by Shoriful! He has to slide to his left from long-on, as he hangs on to the ball close to his chest. Mendis only chipped that down the ground - Shakib had slowed it down considerably, as he bowled full while angling it into off - as the ball ended in Shoriful's hands. There was hardly any pace to work with for Mendis, and his low run continues. 66/2
24.2 to S Samarawickrama, And now he finds the man! Skips down the track, but doesn't quite get to pitch. Looks to whip this aerially into the space at deep midwicket but ends up getting it much squarer straight at the man stationed at deep square leg. 135/4
1004914.90306000
37.6 to DM de Silva, first he misses, but eventually Mushi does stump DDS! The batter is walking back, but the square-leg umpire still wants to check with his TV colleague. The ball was short and around sixth stump, as DDS had skipped down the pitch very early. Seeing the length, he seemed to have no option but to have a nudge at it; however, the ball passed between his bat and pad, and straight to Mushi. The latter failed to grab it at first attempt, but DDS being miles down allowed Mushi the time to recollect - both the ball, and himself - as he whipped the leg stump off. The third umpire also wanted to clarify if the stumps were broken without the ball in Mushi's hands. 213/6

2.1 to Tanzid Hasan, Madushanka adds to his World Cup haul! This was a good length and wide, shaping away. Tanzid swings at this but only gets a toe-end on this as it loops up in the air. Nissanka settles under it at cover and takes a simple catch. 17/1
6.2 to Litton Das, Madushanka has his second! Beautiful bowling from Madushanka, who gets this yorker - one that's slightly pace-off - spot on. Litton comes forward to defend but is caught flush on the toe. Umpire has no doubt, and they don't even bother reviewing. 41/2
37.4 to Mushfiqur Rahim, the off stump is pinged! Do we have some late drama yet? Bowled on the shorter side of a length, and angled in, with the seam canted towards fine leg. The ball pitched just outside off, and barely seemed to have moved back in as Mushi looked to guide it to deep third. But he missed, and Madushanka hit the off stump. 249/5
904424.88346030
38.3 to Mahmudullah, bowled him! Fires a yorker on off stump at 103kph, and has Mahmudullah cleaned up. Mahmudullah all but seemed prepared to launch that, as his backlift suggested. But he seemed surprised by the length of the ball - as much as by the pace on it - with his attempted flat-batted jam only resulting in him missing the ball. 255/6
40.1 to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, taken at long-off! Mehidy goes for the big hit, but ends up gifting it away to Sri Lanka. That was hit hard and flat though, but bang where Asalanka was placed. Mehidy seemed to make a bit of room, and lofted this full delivery on the stumps with the full face of the bat. The ball took off, but not up to the distance he would like. 269/7

31.1 to Shakib Al Hasan, Mathews has Shakib! Good length ball, sticks in the surface - it's the off cutter - and Shakib is early on this flick. Gets a leading edge that pops up to mid-off who hares in for a good forward diving catch. Some belated respite for Sri Lanka as Mathews points at his wrist and gives Shakib a send off saying it's "time to go".. 210/3
33.2 to Najmul Hossain Shanto, chopped on! Shanto falls for 90. Mathews strikes again, as Sri Lanka get both set batters to push Bangladesh back. He bowled with a scrambled seam, and on a length on off stump. The ball just hinted to angle across, as Shanto looked to dab that behind the wicket. But he ended up getting a bottom edge on to the off stump to give Sri Lanka some outside hope. 211/4
