9.15pm That's all we have from another one-sided game from this group. Afghanistan right on top for now, and tune in for a double-header tomorrow: SA vs WI and NZ vs Pakistan. Until then, it's goodbye and good luck. Stay safe everyone.

Sathyanarayanan: "While I am happy for Afg, the NRR of Afg could haunt India"

Prakash: "Everyone saying group1 is game of death but yesterday's pak and today afg made their point and certainly there wont be obvious winners"

Nabi: This was our plan, to bat first and put a big score. The way our openers started really well, finished the powerplay with a good score and then Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Najibullah Zadran rotated the strike really well. Everyone knows Rashid and Mujeeb are among the best in the world. It's a really nice team and hopefully we'll keep winning. When they bowl in the nets we hit them everywhere, no respect in the nets (laughs). When we play the local tournaments like Shpagheeza or APL, me and Mujeeb and Rashid are the expensive bowlers. It was Mujeeb's first game in T20 World Cup and he got the Man of the Match, it's fantastic.

Coetzer: Clearly not one of our better days. We have been playing some good cricket to get here, but sometimes things don't go to plan. This was against a very good Afghanistan team on a potentially tricky pitch, we have to give them credit and some good ones from our guys too. Mark Watt was really good. We fought hard in the field. It's just a level check to see where our standards are. We'll be better for it in the next game. We have a great bunch of players and belief in the side. Belief among the players is key. It's not like we'll be locked up in separate rooms. We'll come together in the hotel. We have to keep moving forward.

Mujeeb is the Player of the Match (obviously): Congratulations to our nation and it's my first Player of the Match in a World Cup. The people supporting us here gave me a lot of positive energy. Fans have been supporting us and that's one reason we've played well (the crowd roars).

Malli: "I thought 4/9 would be Rashid's best, oh my it's 5/3 his best!"

Imad M: "Most teams struggled to make 130 runs in sharjah few days ago and see AFG won it by that many runs"

Vrushabh Shetty: "This is utterly poor display of batting by Scott's.... What a win for Afghanistan!!!! They can be giant killers!!!!!!!!"

8.53pm That's a massive win for Afghanistan, and what a comprehensive performance that is, by a whopping 130 runs! First their belligerent batting delivered and then Mujeeb led the demolition job in the powerplay, finished off by Rashid Khan just around the halfway mark. The Scotland batters had no clue which way the ball was going to go after pithing, and they just about lasted 62 balls. A sharp fall after their recent performances. Afghanistan lead the table with a NRR of....wait for it...6.5! Handshakes and hugs all around the Afghan players, their fans are dancing in the stands, waving the flags. Rajesh tells me it's Afghanistan's biggest T20 win by runs

Rashid Khan to Wheal, OUT

and he makes it four! Wraps things up with a googly that turns in from just outside off and sneaks through the gate of Wheal's defences

Brad Wheal b Rashid Khan 0 (1b 0x4 0x6 2m) SR: 0

Five for Mujeeb earlier, and three for Rashid now. Can easily become four too

Sheldon Smith: "Afghanistan is about to get a huge NRR boost. It may prove valuable later on"

10.1

Rashid Khan to Davey, OUT

hits him right in front past the reverse swat, it's given out lbw but Scotland review it. The ball turns in, goes past the bat to hit him on the thigh right in front of middle, and ball-tracking says it's hitting leg. No edge too

Josh Davey lbw b Rashid Khan 4 (7b 0x4 0x6 17m) SR: 57.14

Rashid into his third. How long will Scotland last?

Only leftovers for me now. Except this stat from Sampath: Mujeeb is the second youngest player to take a five-for in men's T20 World Cup. And Karim Janat into the attack

Rashid Khan to Greaves, OUT

no escaping that one. This time the sweep that doesn't connect with the ball is played in front of the stumps, and the googly strikes him right in front. No point reviewing that I think. And Greaves doesn't.

another reverse sweep, the length was full enough to connect well and he hits it in the gap too, at deep point

Mohammad Shahzad with the perfect gesture for Mujeeb's fifer. Makes the 'you can't see me' John Cena gesture.

googly, down the pads, flicks the pad on the way to short fine leg

Scotland still have Rashid to contend with. But at least no more Mujeeb.

a final reverse sweep off Mujeeb and this one connects, so they get a single to deep square leg. That ends Mujeeb's spell.

Mujeeb to Watt, OUT

he's got a fifer has Mujeeb. And even that seems too few. Scotland haven't read him at all, and he's been threatening the stumps almost every ball. If you don't read those, the stumps are always in danger. This was another quick one on a length outside off and spinning into the left-hander.

Mark Watt b Mujeeb Ur Rahman 1 (3b 0x4 0x6 5m) SR: 33.33
7.4
5
Mujeeb to Greaves, 5 runs

run out chance missed at bowler's end and it's gone for four overthrows too. Valuable runs for Scotland. This was pushed tentatively to the bowler's right and the Scotland batsmen's brains are scrambled, so they rush for a single where there isn't one. Mujeeb goes to his right, picks up and has a shy - if he had hit, it was curtains.

7.3
Mujeeb to Greaves, no run

another reverse sweep attempted, under-edged onto pad
