Welcome to this Women's World T20 Qualifier game from Merrion Cricket Club in Dublin. This match between Canada and Japan will decide who comes third in the Shield stage of the tournament.
The two sides met last week in Group B with Canada coming out on top.
Unfortunately we've had a lot of rain in Dublin today and it's still coming down so we'll have a delayed start here.

It is drying up here and the umpires had a look and decided to have another inspection at 3.00 .
Unfortunately it's raining very heavily here now and the umpires have taken the decision to call this game off for today.
We will be back tomorrow morning at 10.00 where hopefully we can complete a game but from Conor Hayes in a very wet Dublin it's goodbye.

Welcome to the reserve day of this match and unfortunately while it is dry here at the moment, the outfield is still wet. The umpires have said they will have another look at 9.40
The outfield is stil very wet here and there's always the chance of more rain but the umpires have decided to inspect again at 10.30

Unfortunately the ground is just too wet and this match has been abandoned.
