gone! Shorter ball, not the best, Mishra takes the bait and tries to smash it out the park, but Coleman takes the catch on the boundary
Scotland vs Kenya, 41st Match at Aberdeen, Jun 30 2013 - Ball by Ball Commentary
What a game that was! Wardlaw saved them with those two wickets as Kenya made a great fightback. With three half-centuries they had plenty of batting in the middle order but too many single figure bats and nobody pushed on past the top score of Mishra on 61.
Machan took three wickets to back up his century, and Wardlaw finished with those two important LBWs to take four wickets total. The Scots are signing and dancing in the changing rooms, as they take a step closer towards the World Cup. After a few dropped catches, they might have missed their chance, but they pulled through in the end to win by 12 runs.
Do make sure you tune in on Tuesday for the 2nd ODI World Cup Qualifier with me Callum Stewart and thanks for following today for what turned out to be an enthralling game.
Carter to bowl the last, 13 needed
single to square leg, Mishra gets the strike, applause all round for Wardy
big swing, thin edge to third man
blocked in to the leg-side
Number 11 to face hat-trick ball...
done it again! LBW first ball as Wardlaw takes two in two to shift the game back in Scotlands favour. It stayed low, he didn't get any bat on it and looked pretty plum, no confusion this time! It's all happening here...
gone! Takes a big swing, a thin edge off the pads that looked like it might hit, the keeper makes a dive, there's a run out chance but the ump gives him lbw!
quick single to the leg-side
16 runs off 12 balls...
shorter ball, pulled hard through midwicket, 13 off that
pulled to deep square, long over this for Scotland
bad ball, down the leg-side and he gets a thin edge that beats short fine leg and runs away for four
It's Mishra who needs to go big, Patel is back in the pavillion.
chopped wide of point
shooooot! Gets down on one knee to play a naughty paddle scoop over the keeper, fine leg and third man were up so it's four
down the leg-side, not what they need, one less run and one more ball
pulled leg-side and happy for just one
Advantage to Scotland with one wicket and three runs off that over...
Almost ten an over needed now, Patel will need to go big here
flicked through the leg-side and quick running for the second
off the pads and they scamper through
swings hard again, another bump ball this time to cover and the crowd think it's a wicket!
bump ball, drives back to the bowler
drives to cover
takes a big swing trying to be the hero and can't get bat on ball, Wardlaw bowled full and straight and hit middle and off
