Despite some clean striking at the back end from Delaney and Sadique, the Reds couldn't put any partnerships together.
Add that in with the loss of the early wickets, means that they just didn't has enough to claim their maiden win.
The Warriors wily old bowlers, kept it simple and managed to strike whenever the Reds looked to be getting on top.
Yet they kept the runs coming just long enough to deprive the Warriors of the extra bonus point.
Collecting 4 points for the win moves the Warriors up to 10 points in the Hanley IP20 table.
With the Lightning also winning tonight in a low scoring thriller against the Northern Knights, it means that we finish the day as we started. With the Lightning sitting pretty at the top of the table on 18 points.
Still eight points clear of the Warriors, with the Knights far back on four points.
The Reds are still on the bottom on two.
We have a couple of weeks break now until the next round of matches, which aren't taking place until the 21st July.
Although the Hanley Energy IP50 continues on the 2nd July when the Warriors will be hosting the Lightning at Bready. I'll be there and I hope that you will be able to join me then.
This is Justin Smyth saying goodnight from Eglinton.
