Leinster Lightning win the first game of the new season. A Massive 148 run partnership between Andrew Poynter and Kevin O'Brien took the game away from the Knights.

O'Brien finishes the game off in style. Its in the slot and driven high back past the bowler. Everyone watches as it bangs into the sightscreen. Lightning win by 6 wickets

Well that escalated quickly. O'Brien takes two steps and Smashes that over the extra cover boundary. I think its still travelling....

good length ball which Poynter hits up to long-on. No pressure for the batsmen here

hit up to short mid-wicket. Stopped well by the fielder
its overpitched and clipped through square leg
comes down the pitch and hits it to the long-on boundary. One bounce again before the rope. Lightning closing in here
