comes down the track to take out the spin and misses with the big shot
Scotland vs Ireland, 1st ODI at Aberdeen, Aug 22 2009 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Well that's it. Ireland have dominated this game from the early overs of Scotland innings and their precise spin bowling took them out of the game. It's been a poor performance from Scotland who never really got going.
The Irish are singing away in the away changing room while the Scottish door is locked and they're getting a stern talking to from the coaches. The weather has been lovely here in Aberdeen for a change but do join us tomorrow for the second ODI where
Scotland will try and put up a better fight to a decent Irish team.
The game tomorrow is due to start at 10.45 and the weather forecast is mixed with a few heavy showers due at some point. It could be a stop-start affair with Duckworth-Lewis involved. We will see you tomorrow but for now thanks for joining us here at
cricinfo with me Callum Stewart.
