That is a massive breakthrough, just a brain-freeze moment for Gurbaz and he lost his shape as he slices this in the air and well caught by the man (Bowes) at deep backward point, kept his eyes locked on the ball and settled underneath the skier. Success straightaway for Rajitha as he digs this into the pitch and gets good bounce just angling it away on a nagging length. 1/1 2.1 to KNM Fernando, Jaffna in dire straits! He threads the needle to find just enough seam movement to take Madushka's outside edge and another one bites the dust. Rajitha is absolutely pumped up, gives him a fiery send-off. The lengths and lines have been spot on from the bowling spearheads, this was pitched on a shortish length and was zipping away in the channel, squaring him up and he goes feeling for it. 7/3 2.3 to Shoaib Malik, It's carnage out there! Malik perishes! Huge breakthrough, this one held its line and kept a touch low. A crackerjack! Galle have got off to a brilliant start. It was a wild hack and Lynn has pushed his side into some trouble early in the game. 7/2 18.6 to D Madushanka, Disturbs the furniture! Spears in a pinpoint inswinging yorker that uproots the middle stump and Madushanka has to take the long walk back into the pavilion. Good sings for Sri Lanka and Galle; Kumara has been on top of his game after recovering from injury. A fine spell comes to an end. 80/9

Smiles all around for Shamsi and his teammates. Galle have kept them on a leash and the innings is going nowhere.
