Oh, Bangladesh are home! They so nearly made a mess of it, but are deserving winners here. Good length ball outside off, he taps this to gully and sprints off. A direct hit and Shamim was done for all money, but he makes it. And Bangladesh have started the Super Four with a win.

It got closer at the end that what Bangladesh would have liked, but they have a win and that's all that matters. If you missed any of the action, Fidel's report will be in soon. That will be it from us tonight, but we will be back nice and early on Sunday for round 2 of India vs Pakistan... let's see what drama follows this game this time around. Till then, it is me Ashish Pant signing off on behalf of Raghav and Ranjith. Ciao!
Litton Das, Bangladesh captain: Before the Asia Cup we played a few series and we chased down the target so we knew we have a good batting side. [On Mustafizur] We know how effective Mustafizur is. It was a very good wicket. Mustafizur and Taskin changed the game, with their 19th and 20th overs. It was looking at 190 at one time. [On Saif Hassan] I know Saif has the talent to win us games. We knew he will be a good batsman in the UAE. I know his character, and know his game. Whenever you chase this type of game, you are pumped up for the next game. We have to come good again; new game new team, we have to bring our A game.
Charith Asalanka, Sri Lanka captain: It was a terrific game and we held our nerve but it wasn't enough. I was pleased about the batting. We could have done a little better in the last two overs. We were 10-15 runs short. Dasun Shanaka batted really well and we pushed him to bat at No. 5 and he did a really good job.
Saif Hassan is the player of the match: The wicket was very good, I tried to time the ball and held my shape. Litton da was helping me. He was supporting my game, he was anticipating my game. Very happy to contribute to my team. I just followed my process and the preparation was good. We had a plan against Thushara for the right-handed batsman.
Presentation time
10.11pm Bangladesh would have wanted a little less drama at the end but at the end of the day, it's the W that counts and they have got it. Sri Lanka's unbeaten run in the tournament ends as they go down by four wickets. A professional chase from Bangladesh, this. They lost Tanzid Hasan early but Saif Hassan had a stellar day. He attacked from the get-go and alongside Litton Das took Bangladesh forward. Once Litton fell, it was time for Towhid Hridoy to take over. The duo added 45 off 27 balls for the fourth wicket and all but sealed the deal. There was a little drama at the end, but Bangladesh made it home with a ball to spare.
Vedant: "Another classic added to the Ban-Sl rivalry."
Rashid: "Well well well. As a Bangladeshi fan I will always have PTSD seeing 2 runs 3 balls "

It's not over, till it's over. Nasum comes in with Bangladesh requiring 1 off 2
Edged and taken? The umpire remains unmoved, but SL have gone for a review right away. Banged in short on off, he jumps down the track and looks for a pull, and indeed there is a big spike on the UltraEdge through to the 'keeper. What's happening here. Shamim has thrown his bat in disgust
Fuller outside off, he pushes to mid-off and there's no run there
Mahedi in
It's not Jaker who will hit the winning runs. Slower offcutter on off stump, he looks for a hoick across the line, misses and sees his off pole flattened

Scores level. Slower back of a length ball on leg stump, he gets across and pulls to the right of short fine leg
Shanaka to bowl the last over. Bangladesh need 5 from 6 balls
Sharp back of a length ball on middle, he pulls but straight to midwicket. The fielder fires a direct hit at the non-striker's end but Jaker was in
Fuller on the middle stump, he digs this to long-on
Another full toss, shin-high this time, Jaker isn't missing these as he flicks this in the gap between deep midwicket and long-on
Jaker Ali
My word, Hridoy has missed a thigh-high full toss and has been caught right in front. The umpire's finger is up in a hurry. Hridoy reviews, more in hope than anything. He is on his haunches, not able to believe how he's missed that. High full toss on leg stump, he gets right back and looks to hoick this away but misses. No bat, and replays confirm the ball would have smashed leg stump.
Fuller outside off, he drives to extra cover and sets off. He needs a dive to get it; the fielder's direct throw missed
Around
DaWolf: "Nice batting from Bangladesh. They've always kept the scoreboard ticking, hit boundaries as needed. Comfortable chase. "
Fuller on the off stump, he gets across and works this to the left of deep midwicket for a run. He wanted a second but is sent back
Bangladesh need 12 runs in 12 balls. Sri Lanka need a miracle. Chameera to bowl the 19th
PUMPED! Bangladesh doing this in a hurry. Short and wide, Shamim climbs into it and slaps this well in front of square for four more
Slower good length ball outside off, Hridoy waits for it and cuts this to deep point
Short and wide, he cuts this to deep point for a run
Oh, shot! On the fuller side on off, he drags this in the gap between long-on and deep midwicket for four
Fuller outside off, he drills this to long-off
Slower back of a length ball outside off, he cuts this to deep point
Here's Thushara with Sri Lanka requiring 24 off 18
Short and very wide again, Hridoy cuts this to deep point
Shorter and quite wide and even with Hridoy going right across, the umpire signals a wide
Shortens the length as Shamim pushes to long-on
