Drills it down the ground and seals the contest with a boundary. Wahab played valiantly and made this chase a walk in the park affair in the end with his 28-run blitzkrieg
Central PNJB won by 3 wickets (with 11 balls remaining)
Wahab Riaz's stunning 28 off nine deliveries made light work of the 163-run chase as he clubbed four sixes to swing the momentum in Central Punjab's (CP) favour. CP kept losing their wickets at regular intervals but it was only a matter of one big innings to get back on the rails and that knock came from the bat of Wahab Riaz. Faheem Ashraf's 27 off 15 kept them in the hunt. Balochistan have failed twice in a row while defending a target. They lacked the finishing touches yesterday and today as their bowlers let them down again in the final overs. The slow ball bouncers didn't work against Wahab, some fielding lapses and not going for the yorker option at the death has been the weak link for Balochistan.
Thanks for joining us today. We'll be back tomorrow. From Rvel Zahid, it's goodbye for now.
Gets a run but most importantly keeps the strike
Hurls down a bouncer, rises steeply off the deck, looks like it was the only option to prevent Wahab from smashing boundaries
It's carnage out there! Wahab smokes another six in his favourite area, floated right up in his arc and lets the strong levers take over, deposited in the stands and the entire Central Punjab team applauds his effort
Slaughtered it over the bowler's head for another six! This is brilliant batting
Too short and it was there to hit, Wahab rocks back and tonks it over square leg for a flat six, fielder leapt off his feet but Wahab gets the distance.
Length ball, outside off, chips it to the off side
Slammed! Pounded hard back over the bowler's head and holds his stance for the cameraman. Imam can only watch it sail over his head over long-on. That was right out of the textbook
Play and a miss! Pulls his length back, nibbling away in the channel, he wanted to hoick it over midwicket, too early into the shot and that's a precious dot
Clonked over long-on! Times it sweetly to the boundary, that came right out of the meat of the bat. Imam is fuming and he finds himself in a similar situation as yesterday against Northern
Follows up with a wide which is perfect for Central Punjab. They need a few extra runs to turn the tables
Dropped! Length ball, on middle and leg, he launches it high and it bursts straight out the hands of the fielder at deep square
Length ball, just inside the tramline, he throws his bat at it and it trickles away to third man where the fielder makes a tumbling stop
Beaten all ends up! Back of a length, in the channel, he went for the pull but was too early into the shot, well-bowled!
Edged and taken! Central Punjab are falling apart quickly as Faizan gets a faint bottom edge and the umpire raises the dreaded finger. Umaid is keeping things tight at this crucial juncture of the game
Thrashed! Width offered and clattered through extra cover off the backfoot, that disappeared into the fence in a flash
Short and wide, pulled away insoltenly down the ground to deep midwicket, Imam swoops to his right and quickly picks the ball, hoys a sharp throw
Another slow ball, the change-up deliveries are doing the trick for Amad, as he forces it away to deep midwicket
Takes all the pace off the ball, gets spoongy bounce off the deck and he flays his bat out and nearly got caught at mid-off
Gets through his defence! Nice straight lines and it nips back after pitching on off, he went for the pull a bit too early and the ball did just enough to wreck the stumps.
