24.2 to BJ Bennett, Edged and taken and Jamal is pumped up! It's his first wicket in ODIs and didn't he love that? So just when they were getting some semblance, another batter departs. It's the youngster who played some delightfully strokes. It was short and wagged away outside off, an indecisive prod brings his demise. 124/6
7.2 | 0 | 43 | 1 | 5.86 | 28 | 6 | 1 | 3 | 0 | |
40.2 to R Ngarava, Bails flying everywhere! Hasnain keeps his calm and doesn't offer him pace to work with! Doesn't get hold of it. Hasnain aims for the toes and he plays all around it, chopped on! Nice comeback by the bowler but it's been a valiant effort from Ngarava, whose incredible fight must have lifted Zimbabwe's spirits. Early wickets could certainly create some panic and we know Pakistan have a tendency to implode, although they have looked quite secure in this format of the game recently. 205/10

9.1 to D Myers, holes out to cow corner! Never got to the pitch of that delivery as he came down the strip and got more height than distance on it. It's a long boundary so that shot was a risk with the fielder out. 58/2 15.1 to T Marumani, Miscues it, easy catch! Around the wicket, floated a rose petal on a fuller-length outside off, read the line early and shuffled across to help it behind square and ended up giving the easiest of catches to Rizwan who gobbles it up gleefully as Zimbabwe continue to lose wickets after a fiery powerplay. 83/4 19.1 to SC Williams, Massive breakthrough! Around the wicket, lures him with a fuller one outside off, his eyes lit up and he wanted to smoke that out of the park but ends up with the worst outcome! It was speared quicker, slog-sweep gone awry as the ball balloons up and once again an easy-peasy catch for Rizwan who seldom shells it. Are we playing a T20? Feel like that extra bit of risk was not required at this stage. Pakistan bossing the game and will look to apply the squeeze. 99/5
7 | 1 | 36 | 1 | 5.14 | 27 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
12.4 to CR Ervine, gets his man this time! Back of a length, grows big on Ervine, and he floats it straight up to backward point. Saim has a straightforward catch, and Zimbabwe beginning to slide now. 67/3
8 | 0 | 24 | 3 | 3.00 | 30 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
25.4 to B Mavuta, Oh, the relief on Faisal's face! Given plenty of flight and lured him with the bait, he takes a stride out and forces it to mid-off; Hasnain swallows it up and Zimbabwe collapsing like a house of cards; it's been an abysmal show with the bat; we are only just halfway through the innings.. 125/7 37.1 to Sikandar Raza, long hop, should have been punished, but instead Raza holes out to the cow corner boundary! It looked like he had enough on it to clobber it over the rope, but Abdullah Shafique takes a smart catch perched on the edge, and this is a body blow for Zimbabwe. 187/8 37.4 to B Muzarabani, cleans him up beautifully. He didn't know too much about it, and left a huge gap between bat and pad. The ball sneaked through it, and Zimbabwe's innings fading away now. 187/9 |

2.5 to Abdullah Shafique, Oh, that's loose! Abdullah Shafique would be livid with himself! It was a harmless delivery on the pads and he wanted to work it away behind square, got a faint tickle and the keeper does the rest. That's exactly what the doctor prescribed for Zimbabwe; they've got the early wicket they wanted!. 11/1 4.4 to Saim Ayub, Muzarabani gets his second! He gets the danger man! Huge smile on his face; he is hungry for wickets and making the ball talk. This time he tries to poke and gets a feather of an edge. Gets reward for the disciplined bowling; both quicks have been spot on with the new ball. Crucial breakthrough for the hosts who are well and truly in the game now. One more wicket and Pakistan could push the panic button. 17/2

12.1 to Kamran Ghulam, Just when Pakistan were breathing easier Sean Williams pegs them back with such a timely wicket! The elder statesman rises to the plate. Around the wicket; slightly short and turning away outside off, Ghulam was looking to accelerate and get a move on; tries to slice that one and ends up getting the faintest of edges to the keeper who I must say has taken a spellbinding take - superb reflexes. Pakistan officially in a spot of bother. 40/3 18.5 to Irfan Khan, he's gone - what a jaffa from Williams! Lands on middle and rips away, Irfan plays all over it. But is that a no-ball? It is not! Third umpire rules there's just a smidge behind the line, and he has to go! Zimbabwe all over Pakistan. 58/6

15.2 to Agha Salman, That looked plumb and there was not a tinge of doubt in anyone's mind. That is stone dead and what a celebration. He just lies on the ground and waits for his teammates to lift him off the ground. Feel like he should have introduced himself a bit earlier. Landed on a fuller length and goes on with the arm, would have gone on to crash the middle but hold your horses, did he get his foot behind the line? Well, he just manages to get some part of his shoe behind the line, saved by a whisker and Salman continues to walk off. Pakistan in dire straits; just no rhythm and fluency in batting; finding it tough to get used to the double-paced nature of the track and it's gone very dark out there; not easy conditions to bat. 49/4 15.4 to Haseebullah Khan, Cleaned him up! He roars like a lion and Zimbabwe sniff a rare win! Foot well behind the line; slightly shorter and angling in at middle and off, he played down the wrong line and the zingers are off, the smiles are getting bigger on Zimbabweans and what a start by Raza! Two wickets in the over. The youngster departs without troubling the scorers. 49/5 |
